This year’s Mortality Room brings a new production to the stage.   This ultimate, alternative Halloween experience is called “House of Martyrs II”.  The production centers around a contemporary story with flashbacks into the lives of past martyrs. 

Due to the nature of the “true to life” atrocities, there is no avoidance of the gruesome details depicted in this drama.  While the production is very explicit in nature with its disturbing “true to life” situations, it promises to make the audience think.

Through the use of multi-media, pyrotechnics, and theatrical illusions, LampLight Theatre will be transformed into a chamber of torture.  Satan and his servants’ ploys are unveiled as the audience journeys on a timeline of horror.  “House of Martyrs II” is not for the faint-hearted and will leave you to decide in whom and what you really believe.

The production is rated PG-13.  Due to the graphic nature of the drama, we strongly recommend that students under the age of 13 have permission from their parents to attend.
